Coushatta Poker Room
One of Louisiana’s premiere poker rooms returns to action next week as Coushatta Casino Resort announced that it will open its poker room on June 17.
The 10-table room will open at 10 a.m. and offer the same games as previously spread and poker players can expect to choose from $4-$8 limit hold’em, $1-$3 no-limit hold’em, $2-$5 no-limit hold’em and a $4-$8 Omaha hi-lo with a ½ kill. Staff will also take an interest list for other games and stakes upon request.

In compliance with guidelines from local officials to ensure the safety of its players, Coushatta’s poker room will run games with no more than seven players at a table, to ensure social distancing.

This is/was our first time to play in the newly moved Poker Room. room has 10 Tables.
Tables are 7 handed and you must wear a mask.
There were 4 X Tables of 1/3, 1 X Table of 2/5 NL, and there was 1 X Table of 4/8 Limit.

Action was good.
Casino was busy for a Wed and we expect it to be crowded for New Years Eve.
Poker Room is Non Smoking.
Smoking allowed in Casino. Casino does have Non Smoking areas.
Would recommend a visit.
